Sunday Scroungers
With Glenn and Trish taking a break , Scroungers on Sunday was left in the capable hands of Bob Jeffs and his assistants Shelley and Kevin. Above is June, Jan and Charmain watching the finals.
For the first fine weather Sunday this season for Scroungers there were 13 starters, which enabled four rinks to compete for the finals. The semi finals saw Larry playing Bob and Mark playing Paul, which eventually saw Paul Kain playing Larry Perry in the final, with Paul being the eventual winner by 6 shots.
A new State, Australian and possibly Guinness World Record for Scroungers has been set by Kevin (The Jack will stop before the ditch) Coffey. Kevin amazed the crowd with his rolling the Jack skills by managing to put the Jack into the ditch with 5 consecutive attempts, on his sixth attempt he managed to keep the jack on the green but then proceeded to bowl his bowl out of bounds. Kevin is happy to explain his game plan.
